How we research and verify clinics
The value of an independent directory depends entirely on whether you can trust how it was built. So here is our full process, in the open — including its limits. We would rather tell you exactly what we did and did not verify than present a confident-looking listing we cannot stand behind.
- “Verified details” means we confirmed a clinic’s identity and, where shown, its licence from public records — not that we endorse it or assess its treatments.
- Every profile carries a dated “what we could and couldn’t confirm” panel.
- Listings and how we describe them are never for sale.
Our principles
- We report; we don’t prescribe. We describe what clinics and sources state, attributed to them. We do not assert medical efficacy or recommend treatments in our own voice.
- We separate what we verified from what we couldn’t. “Could not confirm” is a valid, honest answer, and we use it.
- Independence over completeness. A smaller, trustworthy directory beats a sprawling one padded with unverified entries.
- No pay-for-placement, ever.
What we include
Clinics and hospital programmes in Bangkok whose own public materials state that they offer peptide therapy. That includes named peptides (for example BPC-157 or CJC-1295), unnamed “peptide programmes”, and GLP-1-class peptide medicines such as semaglutide and tirzepatide. We do not list pharmacies, online sellers, or anyone selling peptides for self-administration.
Our process, step by step
- Identify the clinic from public sources (Google Maps listings, the clinic’s own website, local knowledge).
- Gather what the clinic publicly states — services, peptides listed, languages, published pricing — recording the source URL and the date for every item.
- Confirm the clinic’s identity: that the address, phone and website agree across the Maps listing and the clinic’s own materials.
- Where a clinic names a treating physician, check the name against the Medical Council of Thailand’s public register and record whether we could confirm a registration. Where a facility licence is publicly shown, note it.
- State plainly what we could not confirm — sourcing, licence status, treatment outcomes — on the profile’s verification panel.
- Re-check every published profile on a rolling monthly schedule and date each update.
Who does the review, and how
Profiles are produced by desk research against public materials: the clinic’s own website, its Google Maps listing, and public registers. We use automated tooling to fetch clinic pages, detect when they change, and extract candidate facts (compound names, listed prices, physician names) with the exact page and date they came from; an editor then checks each candidate against the source before anything is published. Each profile names who reviewed it and when.
We do not currently claim a medical reviewer. Nobody on the team is a physician, and no profile asserts clinical judgement. Where a step requires a registry or in-person check we have not completed, the profile says so rather than implying otherwise.
What “desk research” can and cannot establish
We can confirm that a clinic exists where it says it does and that its public materials say what we report. We can record a published price with its date. We can check a named physician against a public register. We cannot confirm what happens inside a treatment room, the provenance or quality of any peptide a clinic uses, the accuracy of a clinic’s own claims, or that a price is still current the day you call. Treat our profiles as a well-researched starting point for your own due diligence, not as a final word.
How we handle pricing
Many Bangkok clinics do not publish prices and direct you to a chat app for a quote. Where prices are published, we record them with their source and date and present them as reference ranges, not quotes. Where they are not, we say the clinic does not publish pricing rather than estimating. Our Bangkok peptide therapy cost guide explains this in depth.
How we keep information current
Stale information in a health context is worse than none. Our monitor re-fetches every listed clinic’s public pages on a schedule; when a page changes, the profile is flagged for re-review and we log the change on the profile and on our what-changed report. Every profile shows two dates: when our monitor last checked the website, and when an editor last reviewed the record. If you spot something out of date, tell us. We correct errors promptly, and we never accept payment to alter or remove factual information.
Why money doesn’t bias this
No clinic can pay to be listed, described differently, or marked verified. Any commercial activity we run is disclosed on our about page and is kept structurally separate from editorial content.
This is not medical or legal advice
Everything we publish is general information. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for consulting a licensed Thai physician or lawyer. See our legality guide for how regulation shapes what clinics can offer.
